It’s Friday! And Fridays are the days that most of us say “AH! The weekend is here!” and so what better way to kick off the weekend then with the time of the wedding where everyone takes a deep breath and says “We’re married! Let’s eat and dance and be with our loved ones!” It’s funny how by the time the reception comes along, you don’t expect the tender moments that follow- but we have several to share with you guys tonight. First, let’s show off all of the wonderful friends and family in Kristin {+} Nikola’s lives.

Following portraits, Kristin’s mom went around to every table in the reception to make sure all of the candles were lit and everything looked perfect.

These beautiful colors and petals, every single detail looked so remarkable against the river and the city scene from the massive windows at The Market Street Emporium.

Kristin’s Dad took a minute to give a speech about fatherhood, love, and his newest son, Nikola.

Then the couple themselves took a minute to thank everyone for sharing in their great day.

Kristin {+} Nikola had a really cool dinner planned for everyone- an Asian inspired action bar where everyone could create the most tasty dinner.

I might have taken several different cake shots because….this scene STUNNED me. The cake, the light, the brick, the flowers, the whole shebang.

Then I noticed their sand from the ceremony and it was too pretty sitting near the cake to not photograph.

I know we shouldn’t play favorites, but THIS was my favorite table. Super fun group!

Kristin is now in the married club!!!

She surprises Nikola with a kiss.

It’s time to cut the cake! Will they be civil?

True to Macedonian tradition, all friends and family create a circle around the couple as they cut the cake, showing their excitement and support.

They played nice and there was no smashing in the faces. Great job, guys!

Every speech evoked lots of tears, love and memories.

Now it’s time for Kristin and Nikola’s first dance as husband and wife.

The Daddy-Daughter dance had half of the room crying. Take a second to look at the expressions in the below series of images!

Nikola and his lovely mother dance.

Nikola’s Dad includes his son’s new mother-in-law in the moment: everyone is celebrating and it’s complete magic and smiles all around.
