We loved Samantha {+} Chris’ summer wedding at The Hancock House in Gallatin, Tennessee, yesterday SO MUCH that we couldn’t wait to hop on here and share a teeny bit of the gorgeousness.
We wish that we could put into words how much we fell in love with not only Chris and Samantha, but each and every one of their gracious (and sometimes cute and quirky) friends and family, and even with Ms. Roberta, owner and operator of The Hancock House.
This was our first time covering a wedding at The Hancock House and every corner we turned made the perfect backdrop for photographs. There was even a friendly momma raccoon that photobombed us during family portraits!
Samantha and Chris were high school sweethearts- hearing the stories at their rehearsal dinner and seeing all of this “long time in the making” magic happen right before our eyes (and camera lenses) on the wedding day itself was truly one of our greatest honors. And yes, there were times that BOTH of us were wiping tears, undetected, behind our cameras.
