Catherine and Matt’s ceremony was classic gorgeous- Catherine wore a romantic long veil that swept down the aisle as she walked, her ceremony was held in a big church with stained glass windows and beautiful hardwood floors, her soft pink and yellow roses were selected from a family farm in Columbia and flown in to her florist, The Chocolate Rose in Pleasant View, to arrange, and she and her husband were surrounded by their closest friends and family- some drove 10 minutes, and some flew in from another country.
I’m in love with the guest book pen. Not all guest book pens make such an impression that we include them in the blog write up- but THIS guest book pen definitely needs to be shown off.
As I waited for the ceremony to start, this was my view…
The groom’s brother-in-law, Corey, walks down the aisle to light the candles.
And then the groom’s sister, Jennifer.
Followed by Catherine’s sweet friend, Callie.
And then Catherine’s maid-of-honor and sister, Rebecca.
I love Matt’s watchful expression as he waits for the door to open and to see Catherine for the first time on their wedding day.
And this is my favorite moment of the entire wedding. Catherine walks in, escorted by her sister’s husband. Remember Catherine’s gorgeous bouquet accent- replicas of her Father’s military metals? Catherine’s brother-in-law walked her down the aisle dressed in his own military uniform in honor of her Father. Not only did it make me emotional at the ceremony but I’m choking up even as I type this- UGH! This was a very graceful, very loving, and very touching aspect of the wedding day.
Catherine’s expression as she gets closer to Matt is gorgeous.
And this one! In what time I have been around Catherine and Matt, I have noticed he sometimes has these shy or quiet moments- and so does Catherine! But I’ve watched when Matt gets super quiet or shy, Catherine reassures him by smiling or laughing at him or poking him and that’s why I love the expression she has below. It’s like Catherine and Matt can read one another’s mind and communicate in a way only they understand. I seriously believe they could have an entire conversation without a single word.
And Matt’s gaze is locked on the most beautiful bride he’s ever seen.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Jinnette!! YOU’RE MARRIED!
