I always love/adore/enjoy photographing weddings. There’s so much love in the air and Molly and Randel spent so much time carefully planning all the details while also keeping this really cool, natural vibe about it all. I also fell in love with all of the little handmade details created by Molly’s Mom, Mrs. Resa and Dad, Mr. Hollis. Wait to you see it all.
So you’re here to read about Molly and Randel. And if you specifically are visiting www.frozenexposure.net today BECAUSE of Molly and Randel, then this is a mega anticipated moment for you. And I’m sure more so than ANY wedding I’ve photographed in the entire last decade! Molly and Randel had a private ceremony along the Buffalo River Bend in Linden, Tennessee, so their ceremony was more or less like an elopement with the ceremony limited to family and a handful of friends that were more or less family. Most of you guys still got to share (and by share, I mean enjoy and INCREDIBLE dessert smorgosboard (thanks for help with the spelling of smorgasbord, spell check!) (I should have stashed fudge in my camera bag; I can’t forget how amazing it was) at Westbury House in Columbia, Tennessee, where we saw the couple engulfed in hugs, love, and congratulations from over 350 members of their community.
Here we go.
All an awesome girl needs on her wedding day- Toms and Converse. And a groom. And a riverside. Okay, it’s not all an awesome girl needs, but it’s pretty great.
I love tricky mirror shots where they are laughing and enjoying the day together but think that the camera isn’t on them. =)

I was personally charmed by The Commodore Hotel in Downtown Columbia, Tennessee where Molly and the girls got ready for the 9:00 am private wedding ceremony to be held by The Buffalo River in Linden, Tennessee. Maybe it was the early morning, the summer morning downtown atmosphere, or the fact that the niftiest girl in Columbia was just inside, usually super cool and collected, but, don’t tell anyone, she was a teeeeeensy bit nervous. See the filigree heart embroidered inside her dress? Molly’s Mom did that. *sigh* It’s remarkable.

You know how when you fall in love, you ramble on and on without making any sense and when you look up you see everyone looking at you with this blank expression that must either mean they are afraid of you or that they are trying to figure out what object they could stuff into your mouth to buy them some silence and end the awkwardness that is your reaction to the object of your affection? So when I saw the detail in Molly’s dress and actually the majority of the details of her wedding day…I might have experienced a little brain jello. And I might have accidentally set off my car alarm. And tripped over a piece of big grass. Wait, should I delete this?
Mr. Hollis waits for Molly to walk down the stairs of the hotel.
I love Molly’s sweet expression towards her Dad.
Now to leave Commodore Hotel and head to the Buffalo River to get married!!!
Here we are! Time for some serious bug repellant.
