The ceremony of a wedding is very special. It’s a very short (anywhere from 10 minutes to 90 minutes) part of what is otherwise an 8-12 hour day for both us and our couples, beginning from hair appointments and ending with the getaway car/carriage/boat/bicycle.
I never want a precious ceremony (isn’t this the WEDDING part of the wedding day) to get lost in all of the amazing moments. So I would like to keep our ceremony posts light on dialogue. I like for the images to create an experience of the ceremony, especially for those who were not able to experience the ceremony for themselves.
I will leave you guys with this note before you scroll down: the bride and groom kept their wedding date traditional- meaning there was no first look. The close up of the groom is his reaction to his bride- it’s not just a photograph of a man with a smile or a sparkle in his eye- it’s a photograph of a man with one single thought warming his mind, all other thoughts weightless and paused, “There she is.”
Last note, the bridal party was the most adorably emotional bridal party in the history of the creation of bridal parties.
ENJOY.
