MEET THE TEAM

Gallatin Wedding // The Hancock House // Chris and Samantha’s Wedding Portraits // Nashville Wedding Photographers Frozen Exposure

We took a little extra time with these portraits because it was a mega hot June day and also…because the people we are about to show you guys through these wedding portraits each left lasting and loving impressions on us. We are accustomed to becoming close friends with our clients because by the time we meet them for their wedding consolation, and again for their engagement session, the wedding feels super natural and we know exactly what our client’s style is and how they would most appreciate the photography and cinematography aspect of their wedding handled. Samantha and Chris….wow. If you are just picking up at this part of their story, then you don’t know yet that Chris called us to book the day before Thanksgiving and had us hiding near the gazebo and at dinner at Opryland Hotel the night he proposed to Samantha. This was the first night we’d met both of them. Covering the proposal just increased my attachment to this couple that much more. But then, they added rehearsal dinner coverage to their wedding day collection. This is where we fell in love with their friends and family as we heard Samantha’s Aunt serenade the entire room at Loveless Cafe as she had when Samantha was a little girl, as we watched parents cry, old friends tell how they first met, and funny college stories. There was also the one that made me an emotional butterball personally, which was hearing Chris’s friend who had flown in from Puerto Rico, explain how Chris had never given up on Samantha and that she was the lost diamond that he had finally found once again. The singing Aunt also made me tear up (completely behind my camera so that I could keep my professionalism in tact, of course). P18C0053 Samantha and Chris with Jack….and Jack. The matching Jacks. P18C0022P18C0002P18C9924P18C9878P18C9846P18C9804P18C9785P18C9773P18C9728P18C9714P18C9698 Samantha and Chris are a one of a kind couple. I can’t count how many times I was told the importance of their Grandmothers. At the wedding, I was able to see just what was so special about these women through the words that they said and the way that they loved on their grand babies- gosh, the way that they loved even on us! This is a really special family. P18C9697P18C9669   P18C0117
